A business accelerator is designed to speed, or accelerate, a company’s growth from one stage to the next.  The French Business & Innovation Accelerator (FBIA) is a business acceleration program created by SVTechnopole and sponsored by the government of France and the participating companies.  The objective is to accelerate French technology companies into the US market for sales, partnership and strategic alliance purposes.  It will launch in January 2007.

The French Business & Innovation Accelerator supports companies that are already established in their home markets with products, customers and revenues.  Qualifying companies will come from the IT, mobile, life sciences, bio informatics, wireless, semiconductor, and RFID sectors. 

The US market is the largest economy in the world and is especially challenging for international entrepreneurs.  However, big rewards await the well-prepared company.  The FBIA program supports, coaches, trains and guides French technology companies on entering the US market to ensure they experience real success.
